Dexter's first book, Black Eye On America, a very candid and non-prejudicial look at this country, was written on the Paramount Pictures lot in Los Angeles, California, where he wore a Star Fleet uniform in Gene Roddenberry's Star Trek the Next Generation television series.

Walking With the Power, Dexter's second book to be published, is the true story of Dr. Mohammad Aliakbari. What would you do if you found out at age five that you had something real? How would you handle learning that something was the power to heal?

Only For A Season, Dexter's third book written, which is to be published June 2008, is the true story of a contractor who while digging through the attic of an old house comes across an unfinished manuscript. As he reads it, he learns that it is the untold story of his mothers life. Here the contractor learns that his heritage is much richer than he ever knew it to be.

Dexter's latest book, KatyNation, is more than just about the history of remarkable high football program back in 1939. KatyNation embraces the true spirit of America. It is a reflection of the hard work, dedication, discipline and courage that has helped bring this country through early growing pains to greatest. It is the story of a very special community and the countless gifts that can be found in our own backyards. It is the first of three books, a movie and a television series. KatyNation is the by-product of a thought which continues to find positive ways to grow.
